The 2018 Bentley Continental GT is the latest model of the concept that was first spotted in a show in Geneva way back in 2003. From that time, the vehicle has changed a lot due to steady streams of enhancements but the basic platform and styling features have remained intact over the years.

2018 Bentley Continental GT – Stylish Appearance

The 2018 Bentley Continental GT will undergo quite a number of changes both exterior and interior which will lead to a better stylish appearance. The active rear spoiler will be situated close to the edge of the trunk. It is also expected to have new LED 2 parts headlights. The headlights will somehow be similar to the ones in the current model. However, the tail lights are expected to have thin oval like graphics which will add up to a more sporty and sleek look. The 2018 Bentley Continental GT is expected to be lighter than the previous models. This is because it will be made using the Volkswagen’s MSB platform.

Interior Design

As for the interior changes, there are no major deviations from the ‘EXP 10 speed 6’ cabin design. Noticeable additions include an S-like large screen and gauge clusters which are fully digital. Other changes also include a sportier steering wheel with 3 spokes, gray accent door leather and soft perfectly matching flawless hides.

Engine and Performance

The 2018 Continental GT model will be offered with 6.0-litre twin turbo W-12. This engine will produce 633 HP at 6,000 RPM. The acceleration of the new model is expected to be from 0-60 mph in 3.9 sec. However, the engine will be paired with ZF 8-speed automatic with Quickshift, Block Shifting and wheel-mounted paddle shift. The top speed is a mind-boggling with 206 mph.

Price and Debut Time

The exact price is not known but it is expected to be higher than that of the current model. The 2018 Bentley Continental GT will averagely cost $ 240,000. The actual release date is also not known but is expected to be either late 2017 or early 2018. The 2018 Bentley Continental GT will face competition from the likes of DB11 in 2017 which is a replacement of the iconic DB9. The new model comes with fresh modern interior styling and impressive amounts of luxury features.
