The 2018 GMC Yukon already has a reputation for its grilles; they are the main captivating feature of the updated exterior bodywork. The specially sculpted and artistic layered grilles also bear the car logo. However, it does not end with the aesthetics. Behind the grilles are active aero shutters, which minimise drag, besides the grille architecture, allows plenty of air to flow into the car radiator.
Much is mentioned about the grilles; the wheels are expected to be the standard 20-inch alloys, though 22-inch can also be opted for. The general make of the car is not much different from that of its predecessor and other conventional SUVs. It’s large enough to comfortably accommodate eight, and its size clearly shows it.
The 2018 GMC Yukon interiorly is as equally captivating as the exterior. The wooden Mystique ash interior gives the interior a luxurious feel, which is further enhanced by the 8-inch touch-screen display and a tri-zone climate control. The front seats are heated and ventilated and the back seats are heated too. The steering wheel is lined with leather, and the same is expected of the Denali model seats.
The 2018 GMC Yukon is packed with additional perky features for extra comfort and to make the car step up to the competition by other manufacturers. An interesting feature in the new Yukon is the magnetic ride control, a fast-reacting type of suspension, which quickly adjusts the shock absorbing mechanism of the car.
This a feature available in the high-end vehicles of its class. The hands-free liftgate is another mechanism included in the GMC Yukon. Also expected to be featured are the wireless charging capability, multiple USB ports and an inbuilt Wi-Fi hotspot. In addition, the new car will also include the active noise cancellation technology for a quieter interior.
